Join us for a day learning about the process of turning sheep wool into yarn.  We will pick the fleece and then scour or wash the wool.  Try your hand at carding the wool to brush all of the fibers into a line.   Observe the Great Wheel as it spins the wool into yarn and try out the drop spindles to spin your own wool.  Test out some of our wool in natural dyes made from plants and flowers from the farm. To finish the process try weaving some yarn with our mini looms.  This program is at your own pace and you can move through the stations during the open time.  We will be having groups start at different times to space participants out.  This program will be great day to learn about the whole wool process from start to finish.
